How it started
Thanks to the rapid development of biochemistry and bioАMphysics in the twentieth century, scientists were able to study marine hydrobionts in depth – fish, invertebrates, seaweeds and microorganisms. Unique production technologies
To preserve beneficial nutrients as much as possible, highly efficient production technologies were introduced into practice – freeze‑drying and enzymatic hydrolysis.
“Hydrolysis” literally means “splitting with water”. Enzymatic hydrolysis of proteins in the laboratory reproduces the natural process of digestion and makes absorption easier. First, the protein raw material undergoes gentle heat treatment and partial breakdown, then it is mixed with enzymes and split into amino acids, forming a hydrolysate. The result is an amino acid complex that is easily absorbed by the body and does not trigger allergic reactions.
Protein hydrolysate compensates for a deficiency of this essential building material, which every cell needs for normal function.
Freeze‑drying (lyophilisation) is currently one of the most effective preservation methods, allowing up to 99% of nutrients and biological properties to be retained. Lyophilised products contain no flavourings, preservatives or colourants, and are produced from very fresh raw materials – products of inadequate quality simply do not withstand lyophilisation.
